| Quote |
This drug was being developed years ago. It has fallen off the radar. The company is privately held that is working on it - Celtic Pharma. Some big names behind this one....where did this drug go that could be the possible cure for the upcoming plague/flu whatever they want to call it????
Maybe it's under wraps for only certain people?????
OX40:Ig.
Clinical trials of OX40:Ig, delivered in the form of a nasal spray or an inhaler, are expected to begin next year, and if these are successful, doctors could be prescribing it to patients by 2008. At present, attempts to combat flu rely on vaccines, which protect against only one of many strains of the virus, or anti- viral drugs, which must be given soon after infection to have a significant effect. The animal trials, however, predict that OX40:Ig will work against a broad spectrum of flu strains, and at a much later stage of infection. This is because it is designed not to fight the virus itself, but rather to damp down the body’s response to it.

Tobacco is one of the greatest of all nightshade family of plants. Nicotine helps stop the cytokine storm. "Raise your hands high! Young brothers and sisters,

No tomatoes and eggplants are solanaceae - my favorite family of plants. Most all members of this family are extremely poisonous. Likewise, most wild species of tomatoes are poisonous as well, and they sure look like it if you've ever seen their leaves, stems and thorns. *Slayer of Trolls*

The poison is an anti-cytokine used for many things as a antidote for chemical warfare agents. |

The foliage and berries are extremely toxic, containing tropane alkaloids.[1] These toxins include scopolamine and hyoscyamine which cause a bizarre delirium and hallucinations.[2] The drug atropine is derived from the plant. United States 11/18/2009 11:05 PM | | Re: OX40:Ig. - The cure for Cytokine Storm- WHERE IS IT? | Quote | Atropine is not an actual antidote for organophosphate poisoning. However, by blocking the action of acetylcholine at muscarinic receptors, atropine also serves as a treatment for poisoning by organophosphate insecticides and nerve gases, such as Tabun (GA), Sarin (GB), Soman (GD) and VX. Troops that are likely to be attacked with chemical weapons often carry autoinjectors with atropine and obidoxime, which can be quickly injected into the thigh. Atropine is often used in conjunction with Pralidoxime chloride.

Atropine is also used to dilate your eyes at the optometrist. As far as ingesting it, I don't know of a safe way to do so on a regular basis. I'm sure someone has figured it out though.
Thanks poster above me. The gas I was thinking about was Sarin gas.

You do NOT use it for regular use, only AFTER, the body starts to react. If you repetitively and regularly get gassed with chemical warfare, you should LEAVE the area. |

Sounds like a nasal spray of low dose atropine.
OK. basic stuff on what a Cytokine Storm is:
It is the bodies natural response to infective agents, stuffy nose, chest congestion, watery eyes, if you ever had a flu or cold your body reacts just slightly at the areas the individual flu cells is affecting. However, the system can go into massive overdrive when stuff such as bio warfare agents, or fast multiplying virus/bacteria that secrete posions are encountered. That rapid large response is what a Cytokine Storm is. The body liquefies cells in an effort to flush out the invading agent. The success of bio-weapons (if you can call it that) is that the body will fill the lungs with liquid in a most uncomfortable way, very quickly, suffocating the victim. If you can keep the bodies reaction from occurring, the liver will detox the chemicals used in around a day, and for virus/bacteria are handled with common methods. |
