Yeah but it also eats off the table and goes to the toilet.
Maybe it even drives? |

They're both safe to keep in your house, if you're REALLY unconcerned about the furniture, but I'd keep medium-size and big cats away from little kids--kids have thin skin and tend to be unpredictable. Define safe.
Big cats make okay pets. Even lions and tigers can act just like big kittens. Really, really big kittens who have a small probability of deciding to use your limbs as chewtoys.
If I had small children I would not own one. I'd also get something smaller, like a bobcat.
Also check local laws. Tigers and some other species are illegal in most places. Doesn't help that a lot of the cool-looking felines are endangered. |

About the Bengal Cat...
Bengal Cats are a breed of domestic cat that mirrors the beauty of spotted wild-cats and yet makes a great house-pet. In fact, the very first Bengals were created by out-crossing domestic cats with small native spotted-cats, called Asian Leopard Cats. "Anger is a wind that blows out the lamp of your mind" |

It looks like an ocelot. I have a question. They say that wild bobcats never mate with domestic cats. And I wonder why they haven crossed any artificially. They have done the african serval with the housecat. Anyone know of a north american bobcat or lynx cross with a housecat? |
