In his decision dismissing a lawsuit filed by Orly Taitz late last month, U.S. District Court Judge David O. Carterr mentioned that some witnesses complained that the birther chief urged them to lie on the stand. Now, more details are out, as one of the witnesses has made his affidavit public.
Lucas Smith, a fellow conspiracy theorist who Taitz identified in her lawsuit as the discoverer of Obama's Kenyan birth certificate, gave his statement to the Orange County Register.
Among the allegations Smith makes is that Taitz asked him to say that he was the one who obtained a document that was alleged to be a 1964 Kenyan birth certificate for Barack Hussein Obama II. He says he didn't. That document had been called a forgery by experts, and Smith said his own research also concluded that the document was fake. He also alleges that Taitz asked him to give false testimony about speaking to specific people in Africa, and that she asked two other people to lie under oath.
"It began to become clearer and clearer to me that Orly Taitz had no understanding of the law," he writes. "I came to an exhaustive conclusion that Orly Taitz may be the 'Birthers' worst nightmare. Outside of paying attention to her own voice at length, Orly Taitz has the attention span of a small child."
Smith also reveals that Taitz stopped speaking to him after he told people that she was sleeping with Charles Lincoln, a member of her legal team. And he describes in detail Lincoln, who has been disbarred in three states, relating his opinion of Taitz's sexual performance.

It was stupid to start pursing the 'legitimacy' of Obama's American Birth to begin with.
Unfortunately the 'Truth for _________' Movers and the Tea Bag Party Organizers all have an agenda that basically screws over the people they get to 'protest' such things.
Since Obama got in office and Democrats have gotten a majority the so called 'conservatives' have not been playing correctly. They have been the party of 'no' and have refused to be bi-partisan about the whole thing.
That alone should be a warning flag to all of the folks who joined the 'grass roots' (Actually planned, sponsored and organized and ran by a few 'elite' groups) movement.
But hey, the birthers and the Deathers and all of that crowd are easily lead astray. Look at the largish following that actually believe some old lady is in telepathic contact with aliens.
Where as normal folk would be quick to question such a statement, plenty not only believe the lady who hears alien voices, but also believes the rest of her crap that she has been wrong about over and over again.
Its the mentality of the followers who follow folk like Nancy Leider (She who hears voices). That bought into the notion that Obama was not born in the USA. Also have bought into the 'death panels' (Telling a person what rights and services are there for them to consider is not a death panel) idea and now the 'criminalized for not having insurance' (actually a 2.5% tax to those who do not have private insurance to cover national health).
Why do they fall for it? Because they are so desperate to uncover a 'conspiracy' that they have lost sight of the prize thus are lead astray. |

Actually ,every time I read the Huffington Post ...a small part of the faith I have in my fellow American dies
I see the self conceit, and opinionated ignorance you expect from the political fringe, being passed off as "mainstream".
So even though I've been warning people for several months that Taitz was a scam artist....I dont consider the Huffington Post anything more than propaganda for people WHO WANT propaganda.
I don't think there's anyone at the Huffington Post who knows:
1.What the Confederate Flag looks like....

Big question here - why did his story all of a sudden change? Doesn't anyone find that just a teeny bit odd? Isn't it odd that BOTH star witnesses filed affadavits around the same time? Why would the judge entertain an affadavit of Orly's sexual behavior on a case about presidential eligibility? Who cares if Orlie is sleeping around - who really cares (besides her husband) and what does that have to do with this case?
And the other guy's affadavit - Orly wanted him to lie about three gays being killed in Obama's church - isn't that something that can be researched fairly easily? And what does that have to do with eligibility anyway? This case really got wierder by the minute didn't it.
And no I'm not defending Orly - I think its horrible when people cheat. But I do think there is enough question on this eligibility issue that the facts need to be uncovered and heard. Too bad so much focus on the birth certificate when the real issue is Obama was born with dual citizenship and that fact is not a disputed. |
