the main reason pot is illegal is this.....

it is a clean and renewable energy source.....

hemp can produce oil that can be used to run engines....

alcohol is a million times more addictive and harmful than weed.....

yet you can buy it 5 minutes from your house....

I think it's absurd and morally wrong to throw someone who smokes a little pot in the pen with murderers, rapists and the other dregs of society. So no, it's not okay... not in any way whatsoever.

I disagree. It is morally acceptable to break unjust laws. Social progress is rarely achieved without civil disobedience. Besides, federal statute laws are unconstitutional, and are therefore not laws at all.
