the fact that any JPG files have been created in the past years when LOSSLESS PNG exists is EXTREMELY bizarre. There shouldnt have been a s ingle JPG created since PNG existed, let alone the MILLIONS of JPGs that are being created each day

well, you still want to use JPG for high quality photos, but yeah.. for 99.9999% of web pages, there shouldn't be JPGs unless size isn't a concern

It's no mystery. The world is full of idiots, many of whom work as software engineers in companies like Microsoft. Why are they idiots? - Poor quality genetics, mediocre parenting and education.

It's all due to ignorant prejudice and prudery. There are still people who think PNG's are somehow dirty and even satanic. So they go with the wholesome and traditional jpeg's instead, just as God intended.

I like pointing out the obvious in conspiracies so dont lynch me for it. If PNG allows you to do more with less computer hard drive space then it comes to mind that maybe the top dogs in the computer business would prefer JPG because of the fact. After all more money for them. Meanwhile you are out buying more of their stuff because we dont have enough damn hard disk space!
