Those of us who stand a little more rational (perhaps sceptical, yes... BUT rational) see this for exactly what it is.
I am really disappointed to see how much hate and poison breeds on the ole GLP. Incredibly sad. I thought that by sure purpose, the point of this site, would mean that there would be a little more intelligence around here. Not that I have seen, especially not these last couple of days. By default, I thought this site would be a site of thinkers, not blind followers.
Was this orignal post made by a MOD? Was yesterday's "fuck islam" also posted by a MOD? If I am wrong about that bit, its of little matter, considering both posts have been pinned.
I so wanted this site to be of more value, and less personal motive than it seems to have turned out to be. |

I'm not sure if it is possible to have an adult discussion on GLP without the childish name-calling and vulgarity thrown up as a smoke screen, but I try.
Obama was chosen by TPTB to be president so he could speak to and deal with the Muslim world. In the eyes of Muslims, he is a Muslim. Why? because anybody with a Muslim father is a Muslim - period. Nothing he or she can do about it, according to Islamic law.
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a supporter of Obama. I think he is just another puppet in the hands of the real rulers of the world, who manipulate every move that is happening. That being said, most of this video is exactly what some here are saying - an overly-edited propaganda piece which destroys its own purpose by being so obvious.
One of Obama's "jobs" given to him by the puppet masters, is to change the image of America in the eyes of the Muslim world. Thus, he would tour a mosque when visiting a Muslim country. Has any other American president toured a place of worship of a foreign country? Has any president been escorted through a Buddhist temple or a Christian cathedral? OF COURSE!! It would be an insult for him to refuse.
Of course Obama will speak to the Muslim world, and to the Americans about the Muslim world; that is one of his main tasks as I said. Hence the many references to Islam in his speeches. That is what he was hired to do. Is it propaganda? Of course. My point is that if this video is supposed to show that Obama is a closet Muslim because he keeps talking about it, it sabotages its own efforts by the too obvious "snipping" and editing.
However, some clips do make excellent points; they speak for themselves - Obama bowing before the Arabian king - absolutely disgusting, over the top, demeaning, totally NOT something an American president (or any non-Muslim leader) should do. Should he wear the American flag pin? Of course - not to is almost treasonous as the custom has evolved since 9/11. Why did he stand with his hands by his sides when all others had their hands over their hearts in that now famous clip from the campaign? Good question - makes me go hmmmmmmmmmmm..... Why did he say "my Muslim faith"? Slip of the tongue? forgot to cover up the truth? Could be.
It's too bad that the makers of this movie didn't keep it to those things which do show Obama in a true light - it would have made a much bigger impact. |

The mosque he was touring is a very famous mosque in turkey and everyone who travels there (of many faiths) visits the mosque.

I have never been, but the pictures my friend took while her husband was at a conference in Turkey look similar.
To me, he was simply touring it.
But, you put the nail on the head...
it was his countenance within those walls and the look in his eyes.
Also, when he was speaking to the islamic people of iran, did you notice his hands physically making the movements that are similar to prayer in a mosque to Allah. The two arms up in the air with the palms turned -just so...
