any of you loons ever had pig on a spit before?

went to a halloween party saturday and they had the 'pig on a spit'as the main meal. what is funny is that many of the paeople at the party couldnt eat from it because of the horrific image it displayed to them. i mean....do people think that meat just miraculously arrives at supermarkets from nowhere? they have to kill the animal before folks can eat it. i personally felt sorry for the fella but god damn that was the best meat ive ever eaten. any thoughts....loons?

Prepared either way, it is delicious and self basting for moist, fall off the bone meat, wherein buried it essentialy does the same thing and bout make for a sumptuous meal.

MANY, many times I've had hog roasted like that, with beer and sweet corn. Until the cops made the local liquor store report WHO bought the keg so they can troll the location and pick up revelers. That ended that fun time.
