Executive Summary
This funding opportunity (FOA) is aimed at enhancing nanoscience and nanotechnology research focused on problems in biology and medicine. Nanoscience and nanotechnology refer to research and development on the understanding and control of matter at a length scale of approximately 1 - 100 nanometers, where novel properties and functions occur because of the size.
A major challenge facing medicine is to develop novel and more sophisticated approaches for the diagnosis, treatment and management of an array of diseases and traumatic injuries. Nanotechnology and nanoscience have the capacity to drive a new wave of medical innovation through the engineering of bioactive nanoscale structures, processes and systems based on the advancement of our understanding of biology at the nanoscale.
Mechanism of Support. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will utilize the R01 grant mechanism and runs in parallel with a FOA of identical scientific scope PA-08-053, that solicits applications under the R21 mechanism.
Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. Because the nature and scope of the proposed research will vary from application to application, it is anticipated that the size and duration of each award will also vary. The total amount awarded and the number of awards will depend upon the mechanism numbers, quality, duration, and costs of the applications received.
Budget and Project Period. The total project period for an application submitted in response to this funding opportunity may not exceed five years.
Eligible Institutions/Organizations. Public/State Controlled Institution of Higher Education; Private Institution of Higher Education; Nonprofit with 501(c)(3) IRS Status (Other than Institution of Higher Education); Nonprofit without 501(c)(3) IRS Status (Other than Institution of Higher Education); Small Business; For-Profit Organization (Other than Small Business); State Government; U.S. Territory or Possession; Indian/Native American Tribal Government (Federally Recognized); Indian/Native American Tribal Government (Other than Federally Recognized); Indian/Native American Tribally Designated Organization; Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entity (Foreign Organization); Hispanic-serving Institution; Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs); Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions; Regional Organization; Eligible agencies of the Federal government; Faith-based or community based organizations.
Eligible Project Directors/Principal Investigators (PDs/PIs): Individuals with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to carry out the proposed research are invited to work with their institution to develop an application for support. Individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups as well as individuals with disabilities are always encouraged to apply for NIH support.
Number of Applications. Applicants may submit more than one application, provided each application is scientifically distinct.
Renewal and Resubmissions. Applications can be renewed by competing for additional project periods. Applicants may submit a “resubmission” application, but such application must include an “Introduction” addressing the previous peer review critique (Summary Statement).
Number of PDs/PIs. More than one PD/PI or multiple DPs/PIs may be designated on the application.

Whoa! That is a well put together video. Way more detailed and respectable looking than I would have thought for a woo woo topic.
So, here's my question. How credible is it? There were certainly people in the video I recognize which gives an air of credibility, but how slanted is the representation of what they said?

for a while the University of Washington/Seattle Computer Science (?)kept calling me about a 'research project' since the phone numbers didnt match-and they would call and say-"Now no matter what number shows up on your caller ID-please call us back and let us know if we had the right person"

True-I had been in a couple of health related studies at the UW in the past, in fact I had worked there for 20 years;
I also had bill collectors after me-and I though-hmm they sure are getting creative;
Finally getting ready to give up, they called a final time asking if I would like to participate in

To be sure-i looked it up and they had their own web page
It checked out, so I thought I would give them a ring as to why all the unmatching phone numbers ie non-UW prefixes (543-0000, 685-0000) and WHY they were so persistant;
They basicaly asked if I would like to participate in a tracking project [not limited to ALLEN HALL (Paul allen of Microsoft)-the original boundaried area]since I no longer work there-nor go to school; Rather to be tracked by GPS satellite; a chip in my wallet- a card i guess;
When I heard that I was startled;
I immedately said "No thanks" and they thanked me;
So there you have it-while they may or may not have evil intentions-once someone who DOES, like Dick Cheney and his gang of PNAC NeoCONazis who set up- GPS Tracking at Der Ministry uf Faderland Sekurity-(DHS)in the first place, in 2004 are still running things from behind the scenes
Oblamy is just a decoy to take the heat-once they get it working-weve had it-and it appears their plan has succeeded.
