This happens to me and my wife all the time. I have no idea why I'm always looking at the clock at 9:11. I don't really look at the clock that much... It's one of the most consistently weird things in my life and I hesitate to talk about it because it's true and I know most folks won't get it and think I'm loony....

It's a cognitive bias. I thought it was happening to me. But you just notice it more when it is 9/11. It's called a confirmation bias. It's the same reason that we accept things like racial stereotypes. It's a certain part of our brain that looks for a certain thing.

Yes couldn't of said it better myself. We all have an internal clock in our brain, we can train ourselves to wake up at anytime we choose, I had the same thing happen to me so I trained myself to wake up at 3:33am and after a few days, I would wake up at 3:33 am everyday without any alarm.

I look at the time like most people but i have noticed that at 9:11 in the morning or 9:11 at night i always look at the clock. I no how ppl feel about it, It's almost like something is trying to tell you something. With me Everytime i see that time my bf and i start fighting it's weird

This has been happening in my house hold also for a few years, it started after 2001 so we thought its just related to that. It stoped for a year or so but it started back up a few months back. You can only see it twice a day on the clock and I'm not really a clock watcher It just so happens I glance at a clock at that time.
