not near the coast please, and not near the american border, and not too north as it's too cold.

Do you live here already? Are you familiar with the province?
You have kind of limited yourself given your criteria. This is BC dude; if it aint the coast, then it's cold. I'd start with the interior. Perhaps Merrit, Kamloops or Vernon. They are small cities, and you can get out quickly. Golden is supposed to rate high for survivability, but it's very close to the Alberta border and it's a bit northern (i.e. COLD)

No shit it's cold, im prepared for the cold, i just don't want to go too far north where it's bitter cold. The Coast is toast brother it's not a option, near the american border will not be a safe place to be either, the places you mentioned to not meet my specifications for remoteness, extremely low population, wilderness and mountains suitable for survivalism. I'm not looking to live in some dump shithole like Kamloops then evacuate the day martial law hits and head for the hills. I'm looking to buy a cabin in the middle of the fucking woods and stay there, prepare and eventually bug out from there when the time comes.

Now hold on for a second, you tell me you are willing to live in some remote cabin, most likely without power or running water and you call Kamloops a sh*thole???? I take offence to that; mainly becasue I live there. It's a great city and I'd pick it over any of the others I've lived in.

If you are a die hard survivalist, then pick a cabin anywhere, you have a 50/50 chance of making it. For me, i'd like the use of indoor plumbing until just before it all hits the fan.

Just trying to help

Consider that if that whole pole shift thing happens.. it may not be cold anywhere in BC.. or it might be cold everywhere.. thats uncertain. But interesting that a number of us have considered this sort of thing... Something about the rockies, I guess.
